About This Service

Pest birds such as pigeons, house sparrows, and European starlings are a growing problem in the Phoenix Metro area. Their droppings are not only unsightly but also corrosive to building materials and can harbor dangerous pathogens including histoplasmosis and cryptococcosis. Nesting birds can block vents, damage HVAC systems, and create fire hazards. At Freedom Pest Elimination, we use humane exclusion methods — including netting, spikes, and deterrents — to keep birds away from your property without harming them.

Signs of Infestation

• Bird droppings accumulating on rooftops, ledges, vehicles, or walkways
• Nesting materials in gutters, vents, HVAC units, or under solar panels
• Loud bird noise, especially early morning
• Blocked vents or drainage systems from nesting activity
• Damage to roofing materials or insulation from nesting

Our Treatment Process

1. 1Property inspection to identify bird species, roosting and nesting areas, and entry points
2. 2Installation of physical deterrents such as bird spikes, netting, or wire systems on ledges and rooflines
3. 3Exclusion of vents, soffits, and other openings where birds nest
4. 4Removal of existing nests and sanitation of contaminated areas
5. 5Follow-up inspection to ensure deterrents are effective and birds have relocated
